Oceania

WLI Oceania is led on by the Hunter Wetland Centre (Australia) which signed up to the first WLI group in the early 1990s. Hunter hosted a WLI Oceania conference in late 2009, bringing to together participants from across Australia and New Zealand.

Current discussions with the Pacific Island partners is exploring the possibility of running wetland training and capacity building courses through a partnership with SPREP.
