At present a visitor centre is under construction at Baikka Beel, North East Bangladesh, with a combination of USAID and Chevron support.  The Centre for Natural Resources Studies (CNRS, an NGO) is looking for a volunteer with graphic /art capability as well as wildlife/environment interests, who could help in developing interpretive materials particularly displays for the new centre. Although unable to cover international travel, they do have scope to cover a suitable volunteer’s costs within Bangladesh. Potential volunteers would need to have at least 2-3 weeks available during the October-early December period, when we expect they could collaborate with Bangladeshi students on this project. Anyone interested should contact Paul Thompson and Ansul Islam of CNRS with details of their experience and availability.  More information click on Baikka Beel.
