A conference was held in Bukavu the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), on world wetland day with youth scientific researchers at Evangelical University of Africa UEA BUKAVU.  Around 35o people attended, including students, researchers and NGOs, to debate the topic: “How to maintain the resilience of wetlands ecosystem for human well-being while maintaining biodiversity and many other services in DRC?”
The discussion focused on:
– Why should we be interested on wetlands in DRC?
– What can I do for wetlands that I know as a young researcher?
– The valuation of wetland ecosystem services tools dissemination.
