The celebration of World Biodiversity Day had some special moments.  Danapure wetland carried out an inventory of plants that protect wetland waters. A very special celebration was held at the DANAPURE Wetland, where students made an inventory of a plant species, which, besides being ornamental, has a special function and consists of protecting and conserving aquifers such as wetlands and marshes. Because of its bright colours, it attracts insects and birds to its flowers that accumulate water, forming small ponds that are transformed into miniature wetlands by the microscopic life they preserve.
