Connecting wetland centres across the world

Recovering from covid-19

What is happening to wetland education, half way into 2020? How has the pandemic affected your work, and what can WLI members provide collectively to support each other?

When the pandemic spread to Europe, some centres started providing digital engagement, including live narrated webcasts from Urdaibai Bird Centre, lesson guides from WWT, and storytelling from Environment for the Americas.

Perhaps we can share resources, experiences or insights. With concerns over sending children back to school in September, perhaps wetlands provide the opportunity for outdoor learning in a way that can benefit local communities.

Have your say! Please contribute to our short survey to gather your suggestions and news of your situation. If the survey is not available in your country, feel free to get in touch by email.
