The WLI team met the Communications Officer of the East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP) this month. Vivan Fu visited WWT Slimbridge wetland centre for a packed afternoon. We discussed plans for Ramsar COP and for the Flyway Youth Forum, among other topics. We will follow-up on these with virtual meetings.

Vivian also got to see some of Slimbridge's newer exhibits, as well as going birding and meeting the conservation breeding unit's star staff and species.

The visit follows a visit by Vivian's colleague the Programme Officer Hyeseon Do to Slimbridge in November 2022, on the fringes of the climate COP26.
