Pre-COP14 CEPA online meeting

Category: International news, News, Ramsar

Last updated: October 24th, 2022

We are a few weeks away from one of the most important events in the world of wetlands: the conference of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, COP14, is in early November.

The head of WLI, Chris Rostron is also part of the Ramsar CEPA Oversight Panel, and will be playing an active role in the Geneva activities during COP14, and online in advance.

WLI members can in particular input to his work on the Ramsar CEPA approach. You are invited to a pre-COP meeting online.

When: 25 October at 15.00 UTC (English and Spanish)
and on 26 October at 08.00 UTC (English and French).

The meeting will be two-way: we will present the proposals for new approaches to Communications, Education, Participation, and Awareness (CEPA) in wetlands; and we would like your thoughts on that.

We are holding the meeting twice to facilitate participation across as many timezones as possible. We have a great team of international partners.

If you would like to receive a link to attend the meetings, and for us to email you about the meetings, please register your interest here:
