World Biodiversity Day 2024 in DANAPURE

At the DANAPURE Wetland in Colombia, 12th grade students and soon be university students celebrated World Biodiversity Day. They carried out expeditions through the different ecosystems that surround the DANAPURE wetland.

They now have an inventory of insects, which are part of the proposal “Habitat for the attraction and conservation of pollinators.” This proposal will be presented to the government of Mexico in its POLINIZA project and thus achieve international recognition as a Garden of importance on the subject.

The people who work at DANAPURE surprise themselves more and more every day as a living research laboratory, thus fulfilling their task of promoting the conservation of life.
