New trail at DANAPURE

People at Humedal DANAPURE have been busy building a new trail with approximately 130 meters restored. It connects to the path that follows the El Oso creek, which surrounds DANAPURE.

The waters of the creek have undergone a special treatment through an innovative wastewater decontamination system, which has allowed for the emergence of abundant aquatic life serving as a biological indicator. This transforms the trail into a space for reflection and learning, where nature, at the end of the path, offers us a wetland, whose surrounding areas have been transformed into sanctuaries for the protection of life.
People at Humedal DANAPURE hope to continue their mission of making environmental responsibility a daily practice, instilled from early childhood.
