CIOMA Activities

Since its opening, CIOMA has remained open to the public and carrying out routine activities related to communication, education, participation and awareness; the center's main visitors continue to be students from surrounding schools. CIOMA's team of volunteers would like to expand its actions but the team is too limited due to funding unavailability, so we keep asking for your attention in order to keep on sharing links to potential funders. 

 MBP Network

As a result of the recommendations from the 2024 MBP annual meeting in October, we have been establishing contact with Mr. João Carlos Farinha, who shared with us content on bird ringing in Portuguese. The materials we received are quite rich and will help us a lot. 

Donations

The binoculars we have received from MBP last year continue to play a very important role in our daily activities as they represent a great attraction, but in recent times we have been receiving large groups of visitors, which lead us to need more binoculars. Likewise, if there is a camera or a laptop for donation,  please we need them to strengthen our daily activities.
