Wetland City is a designation under the Convention on Wetlands. A new website has launched in English and Spanish with impressive resources to inform civil society and local governments what it means to be a Wetland City and how to become one.
The focus is on Latin America and the Caribbean but the many of the resources apply globally. Download the infographics, or share the videos with experts on their experiences creating official Wetland Cities.

Ciudad Humedal para América Latina y el Caribe is a collaborative process facilitated by María Angélica Mejía, representative of Latin America and the Caribbean to the Independent Advisory Committee for Wetland City Accreditation of the Convention on Wetlands and fellow of the International Climate Protection Program of Germany.
