Workplan

In October 2024 we met online to make a workplan for this year. You can read that on the MBP webpage: MigratoryBirdsForPeople.org.

Another way we communicate is by WhatsApp. If you would like to be added to the MBP WhatsApp group, send your phone number to Connor Walsh.

Participation in our monthly core-group meetings has declined, so we will make them less regular and with more return for participants, such as presentations on skills or CEPA approaches. As ever, your input is welcome.

Exchanges

We are involved in a plan by Wetland Link International (WLI) for a digital exchange programme, which WLI hopes to launch during 2025. It will involve bilateral exchanges not just in our flyway but anywhere in the WLI network of visitor centres. It will not be funded, and will ask two participating wetlands to share their experience and needs in video messages by WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, etc., and them make an edited ‘highlights’ video available to the whole WLI network.
