More awards for DANAPURE!
Colombian newspaper EL DIARIO DEL OTÚN gave Liceo Taller San Miguel the pleasant surprise that the School was selected to receive the award "COMPANIES THAT CARE FOR THE WORLD". This event will also include the launch of their new magazine titled "The 500 Companies that make Risaralda great", in recognition of their environmental conservation project that we have carried out for approximately 20 years with the recovery of the DANAPURE Wetland, a nationally and internationally recognized site. World Environment Day
Through drawing and observation, a group of 50 young artists paid tribute to the DANAPURE Wetland, exploring and reinterpreting fragments of the wetland and its surrounding ecosystems through paintings on canvas. In these works, the students captured the diverse landscapes and richness of organic forms in various shades of green and other hues that predominate in the wetland. Beyond artistic technique, the project aimed to foster a deeper awareness of the environment and highlight the importance of an ecosystem that deserves our utmost effort to protect and preserve.
