WLI member survey report 2025
Thank you to the WLI members who took part in our survey for this year. The WLI core team will analyse the findings and might be back in touch with some of you. In the meantime, here are the key findings.
We had 27 responses, from 19 countries, compared to 46 responses from 32 countries in the last member survey, which was in 2023.
Sharing your best practice with others is the activity we need to improve the most.
What you would most like WLI to do for you: 19% say Produce wetland education materials, ready for you to use in your centre, followed by Develop partnership projects and fund-raise at 17%, and Produce more targeted materials for wetland educators to develop their skills at 15%.
You are finding the WLI website slightly less useful and up to date than in 2023. In particular this relates to WLI member profiles – 52% of respondents said their profile needs to be updated. That is something we’re always happy to do! If there are lots of changes, it’s best to fill in a new membership form and email it in; for just a few small updates, a quick email to the same address will be fine.
There were also individual comments which we are looking at and we will get in touch with people who made them directly to understand more.
The WLI World newsletter is a big undertaking but valued. We will keep working on how to optimise the process of making it, and giving you a useful outlet.
