Digital twinning programme WLI BOOTS

What would you like to learn directly from another member of WLI? What is your specialty that you would love other wetlanders to be doing?

WLI BOOTS is our programme to enable that! A free, self-paced exchange by WhatsApp or similar apps, where you get to know each other and share informally though phone-video, photos, files, voice messages, video calls, whatever you like!

Fill out the application form, and we will match you up with other members with shared interests. Then we will join the group-chat for a month or two, as you prefer. At the end we will make a summary, with your agreement, of materials to share with all WLI members as well.

The application form uses the same topics as the WLI membership form, and you also have space to put in your own special topics.

WLI BOOTS is open-ended, so apply any time you like, and feel free to get in touch if you are interested in exchanging with a particular WLI member.

WLI BOOTS

If you pronounce WLI as ‘welly’, we have the UK and Ireland term for rain boots, rubber boots, or gumboots. BOOTS then is an initialism for Building Opportunities for Online Training and Learning. Thank you Alex Hughes for this fun name!
