20 years of EAAFP!
Our friends at the East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership are celebrating 20 years in operation! On 14 and 15 July they will have events in Incheon, Republic of Korea, under the theme 20 Years for the Flyway: Woven by People, Carried on Wings. The celebration is generously co-hosted by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment of the Republic of Korea and Incheon Metropolitan City.
The Chief Executive of the Partnership, Ms. Jennifer George, writes:
This celebration will be a moment to honour what has been built, recognise the people behind the Partnership, and look ahead to the next 20 years of Flyway conservation. It will also be a time to reconnect with old friends, welcome new voices, and celebrate the strength of a Partnership that belongs to the whole Flyway.
Around the anniversary celebration, several important events will also take place with our Partners and collaborators, including the Black-faced Spoonbill International Forum, the Republic of Korea’s Flyway Network Site Manager Workshop, and the Flyway University Alliance Satellite Seminar hosted by Ghent University Global Campus.
