Overall aims of the centre
Coastal wetland conservation.
Description of the centre
Futian mangrove eco-park is 38 hectare, it’s south area is a city park ,and north area is a mangrove wetland ecosystem.Our education program include guild-walk about history of eco-park,bird watching,Clean up invasive species,Public funding education program. We also have exhibits about birds and mangroves. In 2016, there’re 10000 visitors. The vistor center is under construction. The eco-park is in the center of the city, between Mai po nature reserve and Futian mangrove nature reserve
Main CEPA work areas
We invite school students to come to our nature center, participate in bird wacthing and invasive species cleaning, to aware their sense of place and influce their environmental behair.
