Overall aims of the centre
Aims at promoting socio-economic status of marginalized Youths, girls and women through capacity building for job opportunities and livelihood sustainability, including Nature Conservation.
Description of the centre
Our organization is located in Central Uganda, operating in 5 farmer districts, where Nature, wetlands have been really degraded / encroached. We have been involved in nature conservation / re-afforestation activities, wetland use awareness. We usually get 10 – 20 vistors from different areas per year.
Work Areas
Main CEPA work area
Sensitizing farmer communities carry out Smart Climate Agriculture, avoid deforestation, wetland reservation as are being dumped in garbage of which hinders Stream water flow to area lake.
Top three successes
Robusta Coffee growing among 50 farmer groups. With the help of Government agronomist, our organization carries out out reaches in small scale farmers through giving out advices / knowledge.
As our organization teaches sustainable skills among youths, who comes from farmer communities, where by Ugandas economy basess on Agriculture 70.
Vocational skills training among vulnerable youths. We trains them smart climate agriculture.
