Description of the centre
Randsfjordmuseet consists of 4 museums with considerable distance between them. In the mountains is Kittilbu Utmarksmuseum (countryside) which is close to Hynna, a Ramsar mire complex. Down in the valley we have to open-air museums: Lands Museum which is close to the Ramsar Dokka delta, and Hadeland Folkemuseum. Furthest south is Hadeland Bergverksmuseum (mining). The 2 open-air museums have extensive archives with photo collections.
