Funding support
None after the one received in 2008-2009 for a 75% financial support from the French Fund for the Global Environment (FFEM) for the wetland of the Ouémé valley in Southern Benin.
In collaboration with Verein für Mangrovenschutz e.V. we are looking for funding to continue our work on mangroves.

Overall aims of the centre
- Sustainable management and conservation of natural resources;
- inventory of mammalian, entomofauna and forest wildlife; sustainable plant protection
- sustainable plant protection;
- good agricultural and phytosanitary practices;
- the valorisation of natural ecosystems through tourism and eco-tourism;
- the reception of trainees in various fields.
Description of the centre
In the field we work in the forest of Kpinkonzoumè (8 ha), the mangrove of Togbin-Daho (about 150 ha) and Avlékété. Forest near the Ouémé river, mangrove of Togbin and Avlékété. Different species of Odonata, Chiroptera, Primates, Fish, etc.

Almost all of our activities have been very successful.
The field trips with primary school children were a great success and allowed them to discover the biodiversity of natural habitats.
