WMBD 2017 in Morocco
Report of the activities of the ecological information center of the lagoon complex Sidi Moussa Oualidia
The celebration of World Migratory Bird Day in the Ecological Information Center started on May 7, 2017 and ended on May 11, 2017, and was marked by three types of activity:
School visits by school groups;
Educational presentation at the Ouled HLAL school, at the Oualidia commune;
Bird watching excursion.
The celebration of this day was as follows:
Visit to the center of 30 schoolchildren of the school Khmis LAKSIBA, of the province of Sidi Bennour,
Outing with these schoolchildren in the marsh of Oualidia for bird watching.

Visit to the center of 53 school children of the Théophil GAUTIER school of Casablanca (divided into two groups, the first of 27 schoolchildren and the second of 26).

Educational audio visual animation, profile of a hundred schoolchildren at Ouled HLAL school located on the east flank of the lagoon near the saltworks.
Exit with school children Ouled HLAL school on salt for bird watching.
Wednesday 10 May 2017
Visit to the center of 25 schoolchildren from l’Oualidia school.
Outing with the school children Théophil GAUTIER of Casablanca in the marsh of Oualidia for bird watching.
A center for schoolchildren attended an educational presentation including oral presentations and at the school Ouled Hlal an audiovisual presentation, which revolve around:
Ecological and economic values of the lagoon of Oualidia;
Migration of birds
The importance of the lagoon for bird migration;
Preservation of this wetland for the preservation of birds.
