World Wetlands Day lecture

Rahim Yar Khan: A seminar was held at Agricultural Training Institute in which more than 200 people of different backgrounds participated. College students, instructors, agriculturists and media person were there to have insight on wetlands and their importance in urban areas. A comprehensive and targetted presentation was portrayed to them in regard to wetlands and their significance for environmental health. A key message through media was floated to sensitize policymakers in regard to wetlands and making urban wetlands a key part of cities’ development to reduce environmental pollution.
