The Head of WLI, Chris Rostron and Martin Spray, CEO of WWT, attended the Ramsar Standing Committee 54, as WWT is one of the official Ramsar International NGO partners (IOPs).  Standing Committee allows selected contracting parties (countries) to review the work of the Ramsar convention, and review and comment on the Draft Resolutions that will go to the Ramsar Conference of the Parties (COP ) in Dubai later this year.  We were particularly keen to see the CEPA programme back on track, and hope that this has not been achieved (we'll hear more at the COP in Dubai).
