WLI at Ramsar COP13

The Head of WLI, Chris Rostron, attended the Ramsar Conference of the Parties (COP13) in Dubai at the end of October, and delivered several side events as well as working with colleagues on the CEPA programme for Ramsar.  We worked with France to host a side event on CEPA activities

across partners, with the Ramsar Culture Network on the role of culture in delivery of Ramsar’s objectives, and gave an update for our Korean colleagues in their side event on wetland education.  We also had a stall, and made great connections with CEPA colleagues at the conference.  Was great to visit the local wetland centre at Ras al Kohr and see the falamingos!
