A representative of the UK Department of Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) visited the London Wetland Centre to talk with the head of WLI about the UK’s CEPA programme and how we could better work together.  Mauro Barite, who is responsible for Ramsar delivery and reporting at Defra, talked to staff at the London Wetland Centre and explored opportunities to work better together in the longer term.  Chris Rostron is the CEPA NGO focal point for Ramsar in the UK, and so there are lots of ideas about how we can engage with other members of the NGO community that are delivering wetland conservation and CEPA.
