Description of the centre
The Estero El Salado Natural Protected Area comprises an area of 169 hectares in the middle of the city of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It was declared legally protected by the Jalisco State Government in July 2000. This action was necessary because urban growth was rapidly diminishing the wetland.
