About

The centre is c450 acres of saltmarsh and mudflats and create freshwater wetland alongside Loughor Estuary in Carmarthenshire, part of the Burry inlet and Carmarthen Bay. It is an SSSI, SAC and RAMSAR site; it also has a captive collection of wildfowl from across the world and is visited by c50,000 visitors each year.

1. Further work on publicising the centre in such a way that people know they can visit in all weathers.

2. Continuing to provide both knowledge and skills for staff and volunteers to work with the public.

3. Developing clearer information for visitors to see all the different parts of the centre fit together.
