World Wetlands Day 2021 has flourished online!
On Twitter, WLI shared twenty tweets from WLI members, the Ramsar Convention, and other wetland experts; and there was a constant flow of people tagging and mentioning us. We love sharing your activities on Facebook and Twitter; if we missed your posts on 2 February, let us know!
Connor Walsh at WWT took part in a youth climate webinar, run by the enterprising young students of Climatehood, based in Thiruvananthapuram, India. He shared the Biowet project and invited the participants to join in with using the Biowet research protocol at their own local wetlands in Kerala.
Chris Rostron is participating at a special event with the UK Parliament – more details about this will follow in due course.
We would love to showcase how you managed to mark World Wetlands Day in 2021, so as ever, get in touch and we will post your news here or in the next 6-monthly WLI World bulletin.
